Bishop's Stortford branch support local school's rugby team

HR GO Recruitment have been thrilled to see their name on the shirts of ‘The Bishop’s Stortford High School’ (TBSHS) rugby teams this year, as they progressed through the local schools’ league.

Branch Manager, Tanya Stevens said: “having been based in the town centre for the past 20 years, our roots in the local community are very strong. It’s a pleasure for HR GO Recruitment to cement our position with TBSHS and we have taken a particularly keen interest in how the rugby teams have progressed this year.”

TBSHS rugby programme has produced many outstanding players with ex-pupils going onto represent clubs, universities, county and country. A number of players currently represent senior rugby at Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Football Club, National 1 level. The school’s quality provision relies heavily on a Parent Sports Association and sponsorship from businesses, such as HR GO Recruitment.

TBSHS Head of Rugby, David Paine, said: “We would like to give a huge thank you to HR GO Recruitment for sponsoring a new 1st Team rugby Kit and Junior 7s Kit with subs suits. Sending our young people out onto the pitch in smart, professional kit gets them in the right frame of mind right from the start.” The Year 9 Rugby team has done especially well this year, only losing narrowly to the eventual finalists of the Rosslyn Park 7s tournament which, means they are among the top eight teams in England and Wales: an incredible feat for a state school.
