7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Salary: £30,420 PA

As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers across designated routes, within East Anglia / M25 corridor.
• Load goods safely, ensuring that all items are secure and handled with care. (Training provided)
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and administration paperwork.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Handle any delivery issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid Category C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Experience in driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle or similar.
• Tacho Digi Card.
• Good knowledge of local and national road networks.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours:

• 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM
• Monday to Friday - Drivers working time breaks
• Expected hours: 45 per week
