Due to continued growth and an increasing order book, this leading, respected manufacturer and supplier of precision engineering products is seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Duties:
Write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Working along with CNC Millers to create programs to make sure components can be manufactured accurately and efficiently.
Assessing jobs and liaising with colleagues to make sure suitable tooling is in place for work commencing.
Requirements
Ability to write offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software ideally OneCNC but experience on any other relevant software e.g. Edgecam, Mastercam would be considered.
Candidates must have significant experience of CAD/CAM programming of 3 & 4 Axis machines.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to work well with colleagues.
