HRGO are recruiting for a Chef on behalf of the University of Kent in Canterbury. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess the ability to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes according to menu specifications
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet catering event deadlines

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience.
  • Proficient in cooking a variety of dishes.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts during the summer season and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (Summer), 8-hour shifts.

Hourly rate: £14-17ph.
