We are looking for a
CLM Solution Architect with a deep understanding of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and processes, including Legal, Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) for our client, a top law company blending business and legal expertise, offering innovative software and services, and the first non-lawyer-owned global legal services provider with an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) Licence for legal services in the US.
The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of CLM systems, particularly focusing on aligning business needs with technical solutions. This role requires extensive experience in CLM related business processes, configuring and customizing CLM platforms, as well as a strong technical background to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
The Solution Architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to define, design, and implement efficient CLM solutions that drive process automation and contract compliance.
Specifically, a Solution Architect will:
- Lead the architecture design for the CLM implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology infrastructure
- Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical designs, considering the entire contract lifecycle process.
- Ensure the CLM solution is scalable, secure, and integrates smoothly with existing ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Utilize deep knowledge of CLM platforms to advice, configure, customize, and enhance platform functionalities.
- Lead the selection and implementation of appropriate CLM tools to meet the customer’s needs.
- Ensure that the system adheres to best practices for compliance, security, and performance.
- Design and oversee the integration of the CLM system with third-party applications and other systems (e.g., ERP, procurement, and sales platforms).
- Ensure proper data migration strategies and work with migration specialists to transition contracts and related data from legacy systems into the CLM tool.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and provide functional and technical recommendations that align with process automation and optimization.
- Collaborate with project managers and functional teams to ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on solution architecture, customization, and system configurations.
- Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and manage issue resolution related to system configuration, integrations, or data integrity.
- Ensure system documentation is complete, and train internal teams on technical aspects of the platform.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software solution architecture with at least 4 years specializing in ERP/CLM implementation. (CLM experience is preferred)
- Knowledge of contracting processes and related systems (Legal, S2P, O2C)
Skills for Succes
- Expertise in system architecture, data modelling, and solution design.
- Strong understanding of APIs and integration protocols.
- Experience with system migration, data transformation, and data mapping.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
- Certifications: Relevant CLM, IT architecture, or PMP certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
