About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Laser Machine Programmer / Operator to join their team. This role is integral to the production process, ensuring the creation of high-quality lasered and folded components that are critical to their product portfolio. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a proactive approach to machine maintenance, and strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC Laser and Folding Machines.
• Read and interpret CAD manufacturing drawings.
• Produce a range of components, from small, intricate parts to large panels, meeting strict quality standards.
• Clean and prepare finished parts for production.
• Conduct maintenance on machines, including replacing nozzles and lenses.
• Work with the Stock Controller to monitor raw materials and avoid shortages.
• Provide accurate production timings for planning purposes.
• Assist with general production operations as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in CNC programming and operation.
• Proficient in reading and understanding CAD drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with stock control and machine maintenance is a plus.
