CNC Turner - Opportunity for a sliding head turner (ideally Star experienced) to join this established team in tis aerospace precision engineering company working on a new star lathe. Any programming experience an advantage but Star (or perhaps even citizen) experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and a proven track record of producing high-quality components.

Responsibilities:

• - Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specifically Star Sliding Head machines, to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• - Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• - Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• - Maintain a clean and organised work area
• - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• - Proven experience as a CNC Turner with expertise in programming, setting, and operating Star Sliding Head machines
• - Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, and work-holding fixtures
