Contract: Temp to Perm

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 09:00 - 17:00

Hourly Rate: £11.50 then rising to £12.50 after 12 weeks

Our client is on the lookout for a talented individual to join our team as a Coldstore/Warehouse Operative.

An individual who possesses strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ideally with experience in a similar role.

You would be working in a dynamic environment where you can utilise your organisational skills in a wide variety of job requirements.

This job offers you the chance to be responsible for the appropriate storage of ingredients and goods, ensuring they are in perfect condition and ready for production and distribution

If you have a valid counterbalance forklift license, this an advantage yet not essential as the potential of training is available after a successful probationary period.

Here is what your responsibilities will be as a Coldstore/Warehouse Operative:

• Ensure the proper storage of ingredients and goods, following our company procedures and guidelines, maintaining stock rotation and batch coding. First in, first out (FIFO).
• Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring everything is properly documented and traceable following our company procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager/supervisor to assess production runs, ensuring orders are completed and stock is built.
• Take pride in collating orders for customers or transporting them to a secondary cold store, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Be a part of the packaging and quality control procedures, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards.
• Conducting regular stock taking activities, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Create a clean and organised storage area, ensuring all materials are stored in their appropriate locations.
• Embrace a safe working environment by following company health and safety guidelines.
