HRGO are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck driver for the Birkenhead area, to start immediately. Our client is a fast growing manufacturer and will be seeking a Counterbalance FLT driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Position: Counterbalance FLT
Hours: 8am-5pm (3pm finish on Friday)
Pay: £13 per hour
Location: Birkenhead
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility
Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift
Transport materials to and from various production areas as per work orders and production schedules
Inspect and maintain the forklift, ensuring it is in proper working condition
Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift, including inspecting tires, brakes, and fluid levels
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following safe operating procedures
Requirements:
An in-date Counterbalance FLT license is required for this role, it must not be in-house
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
