We are seeking a highly experienced & motivated Data Input Clerk with immediate start, to work within the Parking and Transport department, you will be joining a very busy, friendly, supportive and professional team at Thanet District Council.
Job Summary:
As a Data Impute, you will play a key role in supporting our operations by ensuring accurate and timely entry of data into our systems. This role requires excellent attention to detail, fast typing skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Input and update data into company systems with speed and accuracy.
Verify the accuracy of information entered by cross-referencing with source documents.
Perform regular quality checks to ensure data integrity.
Organise and maintain electronic and physical records.
Collaborate with team members and provide support where needed.
Adhere to data protection and confidentiality protocols.
What We're Looking For:
Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for spotting errors and ensuring accuracy.
Speed and Accuracy: Strong typing skills with minimal errors (e.g., typing speed of X words per minute preferred).
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in [Microsoft Office, Google Work space, or relevant tools]. Familiarity with CRM systems or data entry software is a plus.
Organised: Able to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Collaborative and able to work well within a team while also being self-motivated.
Experience: Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred but not essential - training will be provided for the right candidate.
