We are recruiting for a full-time domestic appliance engineer to join a well-established business in the Aylesford area.

Due to growth within the Repair and servicing of their clients cleaning machinery, they are seeking a skilled Appliance Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Diagnosing, Testing and Repairing industrial Vacuums and floor cleaning machines.

Full time hours are 45 per week Mon-Fri 08.00 to 17.30

Duties
* Diagnose and repair faulty cleaning machines within the manufacturers guidelines
* Effectively communicate the technical diagnosis of the machines to our customers
* Work closely with our client base to repair their machines in a timely manner
* Be able to read manufacturers schematics to effectively fault find
* Accurately record and document all works completed to produce itemised billing
* Liaise with Manufacturers and suppliers when ordering parts
* Be able to perform off site visits to our customers premises
* Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements
* Experience in the repair and maintenance of cleaning machinery
* Able to work under own initiative and to deadlines
* Excellent customer service skills
* Competent in the use of computers to diagnose faults
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
* A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies in the field of appliance engineering.

Pay: £26,844.00-£32,064.00 per year
