Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
Location: Harlow, Essex (office-based)
Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

About the Role:

Join a leading electrical manufacturing company as an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer. You'll design and develop systems for electrical distribution, protection, and transformers, contributing to a company known for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electro-mechanical systems and components.
• Create 3D models and technical drawings using Onshape CAD or similar software.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and project management teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing.
• Stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (preferably electrical).
• Experience in electro-mechanical design for electrical distribution, protection, and transformers.
• Proficiency in Onshape CAD or similar software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
