Engineering Contracts Manager

Our client, a leading innovator in noise reduction and environmental compliance solutions, is seeking a talented Engineering Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background with extensive experience in managing contracts within the (mechanical) site installation sector. A proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the processing, installation, or related engineering environments are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Prepare and review project documents, including terms and conditions, scope of work, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management, ideally within mechanical installation.
  • Familiarity with EIA chapter drafting is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • UK Driving Licence required.
  • Any interest or experience in projects involving noise reduction solutions is beneficial.
