Engineering Company have a permanent job opportunity for a hardworking general worker to support the manufacture of machined parts and generally assist in facilities upkeep such as sweeping and basic cleaning.
This role includes(full training given):
Ensuring machines have correct coolant levels (training given)
Tidying loose swarf off the shop floor and emptying swarf bins
Ensuring the general tidiness of factory
Moving pallets around the facility as required
Empty waste bins and cleaning washrooms.
Cleaning down CNC machine tools when required (training given)
Supporting stores with in / out
Helping with dispatch/using basic hand tools to build basic packaging
This role offers opportunities for someone to advance in the company and train in other areas of the business.
You will need a full clean driving licence and you should be able to work overtime (including occasional weekends) where required. Previous experience in machine shop /factory environment would be an advantage as would a forklift licence.
