We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GMP Production Operative to join an expanding manufacturing team based in Rochester. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of their production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to GMP guidelines and regulations to maintain high standards of quality and safety in the production environment

- Operate production equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

- Perform inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of production data

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance in production operations

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP-regulated industry

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills

- Understanding of GMP principles and practices is highly desirable

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

There is also a night shift opportunity at the same company working 12 hours nights 6pm - 6am.

This particular role will start as a temporary position but will go permanent after successful 3 month probation period.
