About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. Proficiency with the SAP system is essential for success in this role.
Key Objectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping tasks.
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
Assist with compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
Perform month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
Ensure all financial data is accurate and deadlines are consistently met.
Coordinate with local and international finance teams to ensure alignment.
Utilize SAP to manage financial data and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize SAP processes for the finance function.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
Collaboration and Support
Work closely with other finance team members to deliver accurate and timely results.
Support ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.
Requirements
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Strong experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational company.
Proficiency in SAP system with hands-on experience in finance modules.
Solid understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with consolidation processes in a group accounting environment.
