Health & Safety Advisor

Experienced HSQE Advisor required to join our client based in Medway.

• Duties are to provide advice and guidance on all activities related to Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.
• You will monitor and research H & S legislation, being able to implement this and ensuring compliance.
• You will need to audit production areas, monitoring any unsafe areas and ensure that equipment maintenance and employee training is up to date.
• You will assess risks and safety hazards, create safety plans, including improvements to the existing infrastructure.

Other duties include managing any accidents / near misses, investigating the causes and putting in place actions to avoid again.

You will be required to produce method statements and risk assessments, working towards ISO14001 and ISO901
