Hybrid Cloud Domain Lead

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine hybrid cloud strategy and standards with a cloud-first and standardization mindset

  • Optimize performance, reliability, and security of hybrid cloud environments

  • Manage hardware and software lifecycles to maintain vendor support

  • Keep resources updated, patched, protected, and secure, with all documentation maintained in CMDB

  • Optimize capacity with a FinOps approach

  • Integrate cloud services with on-premises infrastructure in collaboration with IAM and Cybersecurity teams

  • Follow technological trends that benefit the organization

  • Initiate and execute demand-based projects

  • Act as provider manager and handle vendor contracts

  • Manage a hybrid team including staff, local IT team members, and contractors

  • Assist the Head of Technology Platforms with budgeting and people development

  • Collaborate with IT teams for seamless service delivery

  • Provide technical guidance and support

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, knowledge base, ServiceNow, CMDB, and ARDOQ

  • Adhere to Group IT policies and Technology Platform Global Guidelines & Standards

  • Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of hybrid cloud operations


Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with complex and heterogeneous IT infrastructures

  • Hands-on experience managing hardware, virtualization (VMware), operating systems (MS Windows Server), databases (MS SQL Server), storage (Dell EMC), backup (Veeam), IaaS (MS Azure), SaaS (MS 365), administration and monitoring tools

  • Understanding of data centre facilities standards

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and landing zone definition

  • Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices

  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools

  • ITIL certified

  • Experienced in using ServiceNow

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

  • Solid experience in project management

  • Solid experience in vendor governance management

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
