Internal Auditor - J-SOX or AmericanSOX

Min 2 - 3 years Internal Audit experience (Post Qualified)

Hybrid role - 3 days working from home, 2 days office CITY London.

Internal Auditor

This role will be to complete internal audit fieldwork of specific companies, business and organisation within the group, to ensure audits are properly conducted and results of the audits are fairly and accurately reported to both local and senior management of the group.

Review independent testing of company level controls and process level controls, for financial reporting as required by J-SOX law is maintained.

Audit Preparation:

  • Organisation structure of company being audited
  • Understand nature and function of business and corporate departments
  • Review accounting ledgers for unusual transaction
  • Understanding group rules and how they apply to business model
  • Aware of potential areas of strength and weakness within the organisation.
  • Prepare documentation, request letters, replies are documents and filed.

Audit on-site

  • Investigation of business documentation and ascertain in accordance with company rules.
  • Unusual or incorrectly controlled items are reported to the Manager of Internal Audit
  • Discuss with local management items under review to ensure all information is correct and properly documented.

Audit Reporting

Assist Manager & DGM of internal Auditing department, in reporting results of audit to local management, preparation of draft internal audit report and rating to senior group management.

J-SOX Programme

  • Assist in independent testing of J-SOX controls.
  • J-SOX testing reporting the results.
  • J-SOX testing to local management

OTHER

Preparation of monthly P&L, budgets,
