Junior Stores Role in Aircraft Maintenance. This is a rare opportunity to start a career in aviation working on a Monday - Friday shift, 8am - 4:30pm. The role is working in an aircraft hangar environment, handling, inspecting, and logging aircraft parts and materials, all while keeping up with tight deadlines and exacting quality and trace-ability standards.
Key parts of the job:
Get aircraft parts, consumables, and tools to our engineers.
Keep track of inventory, check shelf life, and see if tools need calibration.
Do basic inspections of aircraft parts. (training given)
Make sure all items you send out arrive safely, especially dangerous goods.
Manage and dispose of waste.
Keep documentation and files up to date.
Ensure storage and handling meet regulations.
Help improve our operations and keep the work-space tidy.
You should have good computer skills and a counterbalance forklift licence or some forklift experience would be an advantage, (but training can be given).
