Logistics Coordinator

Up to £28,000 per annum DOE plus benefits

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client, based in Dover, on a permanent basis. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of Logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods.

This role is working on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern, 7pm-7am.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will…

• Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities while planning shipments based on customer requirements.
• Escalate transport delays and issues to the Team Leader, providing resolution options for client communication.
• Collaborate with the supplier management team to address carrier coverage gaps and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
• Monitor shipments for on-time delivery, resolving issues with suppliers, carriers, and customers, and recording non-conformances.
• Analyse logistics data for improvement opportunities, maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role
• Must be able to work night shifts
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and best practices
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
