We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client, based in Dover, on a permanent basis. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of Logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities while planning shipments based on customer requirements.
Escalate transport delays and issues to the Team Leader, providing resolution options for client communication.
Collaborate with the supplier management team to address carrier coverage gaps and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
Analyse logistics data for improvement opportunities, maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Person Specification:
Demonstrated experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a comparable position
Proven track record of effectively resolving issues
Exceptional customer service abilities
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficient administrative and technical skills
