We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Male Senior Support Worker (Nights) based in Taunton specifically working Nights 9pm-9am on the days stated below.
You will have a background as a Senior Support Worker and have a real passion for the industry.

This pivotal role is ideal for a dedicated, person-centred professional ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in a supported living environment in Taunton. The successful candidate will have a background in Social Care and will also act as a Team Leader for the Nights Team so as a result a background in Social Care is essential
This is a Male Senior Support Worker (Nights) position and you will work on a 2 week rolling rota as follows:
WEEK 1: MONDAY, TUESDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
WEEK 2: WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
The working hours on these nights will be 9pm to 9am (averaging a 42 hour week)
As a Male Senior Support Worker (Nights) you will also be the Team Leader for the Nights Team and will:
- Oversee and coordinate night shift activities to ensure the safety, well-being, and quality of life for residents
- Provide leadership and supervision to the night shift team, ensuring high standards of care and support as the Male Senior Support Worker (Nights)
- Deliver hands-on support and engage with residents to fulfil their needs and enhance their living experience.
- Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently while complying with organisational policies and care standards within the Social Care Sector
- Maintain clear, effective communication within the team and with management.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a support/health care role, ideally within a supported living setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care.
- Ability to work efficiently and responsibly, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Knowledge of organisational policies and care standards is an advantage.
