My client who is based in Martock , an engineering company focusing on a number of sectors including aerospace and automotive and transportation, is looking for a MIG / TIG welder to join their team due to the continued growth of the business we are looking for someone who can:
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in the Engineering Department.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium materials.
The primary responsibilities of this role include reading technical drawings, welding ground support equipment, and assisting with assembly tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Interpret and work from technical drawings to produce high-quality welds
- Weld ground support equipment according to specifications and quality standards
- Assist with the assembly of components and structures as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements for MIG / TIG welder
- Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder
- Proficiency in welding mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Willingness to assist with assembly tasks when needed
- Certification in welding is a plus but not required
