Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Mobile Toilet Cleaner to join our team in the Local Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various public toilets across the area. As a Mobile Toilet Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and comfortable for public use.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise public toilets in various locations within the Local Authority.
- Empty waste receptacles and replace with clean liners.
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and other necessary supplies.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure toilets are in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Drive to different locations using a company vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assigned duties.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service to members of the public who may require assistance or have queries.
Requirements:
- Clean Driving Licence: A valid and clean driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel to different locations using a company vehicle.
- Independent: Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing your own workload and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Enhanced DBS: Possession of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
- Good Time Management: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines.
- Physical Stamina: The role involves physical work, including lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues.
This position will run on split shift pattern with hours of work from 05:00 until 12:00 and 15:00 until 18:30, 10.5 hours per day on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
