Design Engineer / Mould Designer required for a leading mould tool engineering company specialising in multi-cavity moulds for the food, cosmetics, and household sectors. The company is respected for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality.
Role Overview: Design blow moulds and other products using CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design blow moulds and products.
- Analyse customer needs and create solutions.
- Develop 3D models using CAD software (Autodesk, Powershape preferred; training provided).
- Ensure moulds are cost-effective and meet specifications.
- Test and evaluate moulds.
- Communicate quality requirements.
- Resolve internal non-conformity's.
- Work with suppliers on quality issues.
- Conduct supplier audits.
- Support FAIRs process.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Apply statistical analysis for trend monitoring.
- Manage document control.
- Implement 5S and Lean methodologies.
- Support HSE projects for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in mould design preferred, but open to graduate trainees.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Innovative and efficient design solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Organised and able to multitask.
