Shifts: 4 on/4 off 12-hour night shifts (7.00pm-7.00am)

Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Customs Clerk to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Customs Clerk and a strong understanding of customs clearance procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee import/export customs documentation, including declarations, clearances, and entry checks.
• Address and resolve enquiries on customs procedures, classifications, duty rates, and documentation.
• Interact professionally with clients to collect necessary customs information and offer support.
• Respond to customs queries on active declarations and ensure accurate data across systems.
• Maintain compliance with HMRC and regulatory standards, advising clients as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a customs clerk is essential
• Proficiency in using customs software is essential
• Strong understanding of customs clearance requirements and regulations
• Experience in road transport, logistics, or haulage is desirable
• Must be able to work 4-on/4-off 12-hour night shifts (7.00pm-7.00am)
