Job Title: QHSE Coordinator (Quality / Health and Safety)
Location: Forest of Dean, UK
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £30k - £34k (DOE) + Benefits

HRGO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced QHSE Coordinator on behalf of our FMCG Manufacturing client based in the Forest of Dean.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be a key part of the Site Leadership Team, leading a small team across Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) functions. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine Quality Assurance checks across the manufacturing site
  • Perform Internal Audits and Inspections across the site
  • Assist with regulatory audits as required
  • Maintain and update all quality and safety documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and enforce hygiene and cleanliness standards within the production environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, carrying out risk assessments and implementing necessary control measures.
  • Housekeeping duties (in the Q.A. Lab)
  • Provide support for HSE functions when required.

Who We're Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • An interest in Quality Assurance - Previous experience in a hands-on Q.A. role would be advantageous.
  • Previous auditing experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
