Working 5 days of the week across Monday to Saturday, 2pm-8pm
Between 25 & 30 hours per week
Overtime is available when required
Pay rate: £13.37
Requirements
A standard DBS check will be carried out
A full UK manual driving licence
5 years living history will be required
RTW will be required
Long term, with a possibility of a permanent contract for the right person.
You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting the parcels for your route, and loading them into your van. You will then be out driving around Canterbury and local areas to complete your round. You will be using a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.
Daily tasks:
Loading parcels
Parcel to be delivered to the local area
Spend between four- and six-hours delivering
Check your vehicle prior to starting your shift.
Successful candidates:
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
Over 18 years of age.
Full clean driving license
Good customer facing skills
Well presented
Ability to follow verbal instructions.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
