HRGo Recruitment are working alongside a secondary school in Barnsley (S70 3), who are on the lookout for an experienced caretaker / handyman to join their established team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the security of the school premises
• Undertaking routine maintenance and repairs
• Cleaning the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms
• Ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Organising with external contractors for more significant maintenance work
• Responding to emergencies, such as power outages or flooding
• Supporting the school in the setup and management of events and activities

Requirements:

• Experience as a caretaker or buildings manager
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ROTATING SHIFT OF 05:30 - 13:30 / 11:30 - 19:30

Pay Rate of £11.53 / hour

Temp - to - Perm after 12 weeks.
