Mission and key priorities of the role:
We are looking for a independed accountant directly reporting to the Head of Finance Europe. Senior Accountant is needed to enhance the accounting, analytical and reporting skills of the company entity established in Poland. There is a room in future to grow to Site Finance Leader.
Your responsibilities include:
Ensure the accuracy of accounting and financial data, working closely with the local team and the external accounting provider
Run month-end close and reporting in the local ERP (Navision), as well as perform controlling activities to support month-end analysis and Group reporting
Manage the upload and validation of financial data into the reporting system (Tagetik)
Perform monthly factoring and cash flow analysis, working closely with the Treasury/Accounting/Credit Team
Be the primary contact person in support of credit/AR insurance/AR reporting
Establish and maintain an environment of internal control and integrity, while supporting the management of local Finance systems
Support compliance audits, annual audits, and ad-hoc due diligence activities
Who are we looking for:
Degree in Accounting, MSc in Accounting/Finance or similar experience
Previous of experience in a manufacturing company, supporting customers operating with an international footprint on a large scale
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Proficient in Excel and experienced user of accounting and financial systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Polish and English
