Job Title: Social Media/Marketing Assistant
Location: Ashford
Job Type: Contract - Initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension/potential permanent opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £22,308 per annum (Pro rata)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update social media accounts on platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels
• Create visually appealing and engaging content using Canva to attract and retain followers
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
• Monitor social media trends, analyse performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials, including flyers and other marketing collateral

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of using social media accounts on Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
• Proficiency in using Canva or similar design tools to create visually appealing content
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with followers in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
• Creative thinking and a passion for social media marketing
