About the role
The Trade Marketing Specialist is a member of the Sales and Customer Service organization, responsible for coordinating and executing sales supporting initiatives and assortment on customer level. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, external vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective management of product launches and promotional activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in creation and monitoring the realization of annual calendar for promotional activities to drive trade
- Assisting in the planning and execution of sales supporting activities, campaigns and events, directed to specific customers
- Assisting in creating and maintaining promotional materials, including brochures, presentations and in store sales material
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Helping to manage and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of sales supporting activities
- Supporting the coordination of trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events
- Coordinating the product assortment on customer level and monitoring its performance
- Managing the development and implementation of Private Label products
- Managing the development and implementation of Private Label packaging design
- Managing day-to-day communication with the customers regarding product portfolio
- Providing product information to the customers and maintaining the customer product database
- Preparing presentations and/or analyses for sales team’s use in monthly meetings, key account planning/ review meetings
- Supporting the sales team in organization of customer meetings and product presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Good German level
- Fluent English level
- Experience in trade marketing, product management, or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG or food industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Knowledge: Familiarity with market research techniques and promotional strategies
- Detail-oriented, proactive, creativity, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
