Trainee Service Engineer.
Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.
They are going through growth and expansion and are looking to bring on board and join the team of friendly and experienced Kitchen Ventilation Engineers. The job will mainly involve working in Central London and the Southeast, but not excluded to.
MAIN DUTIES.
* Planned and preventative maintenance of Kitchen Ventilation Systems.
* Continuing to build experience, learning from Service and Senior Engineers.
* Attending breakdowns of non-trading sites.
* Fault finding and repair on equipment.
* Detailed reporting on remedial work to existing systems.
* Carrying our commissioning activities.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including a call-out rota - Overtime Available
* Maintain personal technical skills to a high level.
* Writing of technical reports using the CRM system - Salesforce Field Service and customer portals.
* Engaging with the Service office team reporting accurate information, to allow a smooth customer service experience.
* Attending Engineering meetings as and when required.
* Assisting with ESP laundry service and UV re-lamping when not on site.
* Working alone or part of a team to achieve results
Candidate.

Demonstrate superior listening skills to effectively ascertain customer requirements and/or system problems and deficiencies. Be able to follow instructions and work cooperatively with the service team to complete tasks independently and efficiently whilst upholding high customer satisfaction levels at all times.
Experience/Qualifications.
- Previous experience as a field engineer or similar.
- Well versed in technical aspects of field projects on machinery and equipment.
- Understanding of H&S guidelines.
- Attention to detail.
- Good knowledge and understanding of basic control system.
- Full driving licence.
Contracted 40 Hours per Week (Monday - Friday)
Night Rota (approx. 1 week every 3 weeks)
Call-out Rota - 1 Weekday per week and 1 Weekend in every 8 weeks (approx.)
Weekend overtime available to suit business requirements.
Day Shift
Typical start/finish times (door to door) 05:00 - 14:30
On call Engineer on standby until 17:00. Overtime if called out past contracted hours.
Night Shift
Typical start/finish times (door to door) 21:00 - 04:30
On call Engineer on standby between 17:00 - 07:00. Overtime if called out past contracted hours.
