Warehouse Team Leader

Pay: £35,000 per annum + £2,000 PRP
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7.30am-4.30pm; Friday, 7.30am-1.30pm (40 hours per week)
Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee warehouse operations and manage day-to-day assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storing, assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch activities while maintaining efficient workflows and meeting customer ship conformance.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule staff to foster a productive, safe, and well-organised work environment, while effectively managing conflict resolution.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement controls to reduce waste, and optimise storage processes.
• Quality and Compliance: Ensure goods meet quality standards, uphold safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulations through training and reviews.
• Vendor and Client Coordination: Manage consignments, resolve order discrepancies, and handle returns while maintaining professional communication with vendors and clients.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
• Proficiency in warehouse and inventory systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in inventory and order processing.
• Must be flexible with duties and work hours during peak demand periods.

Qualifications:

• Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Due to the location of the role, you must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
