Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder Fabricator & Assembly Operative to join their growing production team. Position: Welder Fabricator & Assembly Operative

Location: Ashford

Key Responsibilities:

- Weld, fabricate, and assemble steel frames, doors, and panels to detailed project drawings and specifications.

- Ensure quality and consistency across all stages of production, self-inspecting and adhering to industry and company quality standards.

- Work with sub-assembly parts and steel components to meet production deadlines.

- Proactively highlight and report any potential issues during the production process to the line manager.

- Maintain safety standards by following company and legislative health and safety guidelines.

- Assist with general housekeeping and other factory operations as required.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly of steel products.

- Ability to work to exacting quality standards and tight production schedules.

- A methodical and proactive work ethic, with excellent attention to detail.

- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
