HRGO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Corporate Health & Safety Officer for their client based in the heart of Ashford.

You will ensure the current health and safety legislation are followed. You will also provide technical support and develop/ promote all aspects of health and safety including policies and procedures.

This is a temporary position for approx. 3 months.

Pay:

£19.50ph

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 37hrs per week.

Hybrid working?

Yes, a minimum of 2 days in the office a week.

Role Requirements:

• To support the Safety & Well being Manager in connection with their role for cooperate safety.
• To provide professional and competent advice on all health, safety and well being issues to all levels.
• To provide guidance to all levels on relevant changes in legislation relating to health & safety and impact
• Support Business Continuity by providing specialist advise for the co-ordination and management of corperate policies
• To direct, support and advise various internal health and safety committees and groups.
• To support in the co-ordination of emergency procedures and personnel including evacuations, fire and first aid

Person Specification:

• Diploma or equivalent specifically relevant to health & Safety
• Experience working in a health & safety environment
• Experience with risk Management
• Experience with delivering training on general health & safety
• Confident communicator with developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan ahead
