Radio Communication Support Technician / Van Driver
A great opportunity to join this specialist company who supplies on-site Radio Engineers to maintain, manage and assist with all two-way radio communication systems requirements across the rail network, typically covering weekend railway maintenance works.
Our client is looking to recruit a Trainee Radio Communication Support Technician / Van Driver, with full training provided included obtaining a Personal Track Safety card (PTS card).
This position involves working 3 out of 4 weekends per month and bank holidays. This includes working both night and day shifts.
Applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and be happy to work on day and night shifts over the weekend. It is essential that applicant can commit to work 3 out of 4 weekends every month including bank holidays.
The Radio Communication Support Technician / Van Drivers are an integral part of track-side safety operations within the Rail Industry and due to the nature of the work involved, this role requires driving the company van from the office in Bishop's Stortford to various railway stations or railway locations across the London, Anglian and Kent regions. Overnight accommodation is provided depending on the location.

Starting Salary:
Starting Salary: £23,795 pa, plus overtime; offering excellent earning potential.
Salary increases to £27,000 pa, after successfully completing a probationary period.
