Position: CNC Workshop Team Leader

Location: Deeside

Hours: 7.00-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 7.00-13.30 on Friday

Salary: Negotiable DOE

HR GO recruitment is looking for an experienced Workshop Team Leader for our client a busy manufacturing company based in Deeside. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience along with previous experience as a setter/operator for laser and press brake machinery

Role Responsibilities

Work closely with the production planning team to ensure the plan is both achievable and most efficiently uses the machine time.

In line with the production plan set, load & operate the laser.

Support the Press brake operations and other machinery used in the production process.

Manage the production team members to maximise productivity and efficiency giving experienced suggestions for any improvements required.

Ensure all health and safety rules coupled with quality standards are recognised and followed.

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.

Work closely with the production planning team to ensure the plan is both achievable and most efficiently uses the machine time.

Role Requirements

Previous experience as a setter/operator required for the laser cutting machine and press brake machinery using a variety of different metals with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

Proven track record of leading and managing a team

Experience in file loading and planning of all machinery & ability to train others.

Experience with Bystronic machinery and software including Sigma-Nest, Sigma Bend, Bysoft and Plant Manager is essential.

You can understand and work from engineering drawings and tooling changes

Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred but training will be given.

Have the ability to use different measuring equipment (rulers, verniers, angle measuring devices)
